What is a document enquiry procedure?
A document enquiry is a consular service, within which a consular office of the Republic of Tajikistan overseas can request competent authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan to issue and send documents on civil registry, employment record, education, financial state and legal status of individual entities.
Documents are enquired based on the written application of an individual submitted personally or through his/her representative based on a letter of his/her attorney.
Who is the service receiver?
A citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan, a foreigner or a stateless person, who has a legal affiliation with the Republic of Tajikistan.
A legal affiliation refers to cases, within which an individual entity born in the Republic of Tajikistan was a citizen of Tajikistan, had worked or studied and stayed in the Republic of Tajikistan for more than six months.
What documents are subject to enquiry?
- Certificate of conviction in the Republic of Tajikistan;
- Documents issued by Civil Registry Office (certificates of birth and other documents);
- Copies of court decision on civil and family cases;
- Documents on immunization and health examination (certificate, extracts and so on) issued by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- Documents issued by educational institutions and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- Certificate on military service liability (except the information containing state secret);
- Archive certificate on employment in public agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan.
- Other personal documents.
What documents are not subject to enquiry?
- Original military service ID;
- Original employment records book;
- Original driving license;
- Personal history;
- Personal file from organizations of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Duplicate marriage certificates if the individual is divorced, and birth certificates for deceased persons are also not subject to enquiry.
Certificates on employment history and military service are issued according to procedures based on the records of the employment records book and military service ID card.
Birth certificates of minors are enquired by their legal representatives.
Death certificates can be enquired by the relatives of deceased persons or their legal representatives for official purposes.
